Gordon James Asti
Gordon James Asti is an award-winning writer, director, and actor. He has appeared in such shows as the Emmy-nominated Criminal Minds, Solve, and has starred in many independent films. He has also received recognition for his filmmaking in titles such as Life of the Party and Beulah. His feature screenplay 2 Milligrams won Best Feature Screenplay at the Festigious Film Festival and was runner-up at the 2022 Scriptapalooza Competition. In 2016, he met fellow filmmaker Denise Ambroggio, with whom he co-created Beulah.
The two married in 2017 and that same year they founded Dare to Move Pictures. They continue to collaborate in both life and film as their family grows.
Denise Ambroggio
Denise Ambroggio is an award-winning director, actress, and production designer.
She earned a BA in Media Design & Multimedia Arts from NABA in Milan. Showing great promise, she received a scholarship to study at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design where she received a second scholarship to study at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. She completed an MA in Film & Media Production in 2016.
She has since worked on productions for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount, Google, Lifetime, Pureflix, and Facebook Watch. Denise has also been recognized for her filmmaking work on Beulah, Black Mirror, and the Sundance-produced, short film Tribes. Denise and husband Gordon share a home together with their two boys.
